Statement of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Ghana on the occasion of the martyrdom of the President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of

With great regret and deep emotion, the news of the martyrdom of Mr. Dr. Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, the honourable president, and Mr. Hossein Amirabdollahian, the honourable minister of foreign affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and several other officials and members of the accompanying delegation plunged Iran into mourning. We offer our condolences for this great loss to his respected families, the service of the Supreme Leader and all the dear and strong people of Iran, especially our compatriots living in the Republic of Ghana.
Dr. Ebrahim Raisi and Dr. Amir Abdullahian served their country and people with great commitment and sincerity, and during their tenure, they always sought to promote justice, and welfare and strengthen international relations.
His loss is a heavy loss for his family and relatives and the people of Iran.
We ask God for his high ranks and vast divine mercy and patience for the survivors.
The memory of these loved ones will always live in our hearts.
