Celebrating the 47th Anniversary of the National Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Accra extends its greetings and congratulations to the government and the friendly people of the Republic of Ghana, as we celebrate the 47th Anniversary of the Victory of the Islamic Revolution, the National Day of Iran.

February 11th marks a turning point in Iran’s contemporary history—a day that symbolizes the Iranian people's pursuit of independence, self-determination, and justice. Over the past nearly five decades, despite various challenges, the Islamic Republic of Iran has achieved remarkable milestones in the fields of science, technology, healthcare, and sustainable development, relying on the talent and resilience of its people.

On this auspicious occasion, the Islamic Republic of Iran reaffirms its commitment to the principles of mutual respect, global peace, and constructive engagement. We value the long-standing and cordial relations with the Republic of Ghana, which are rooted in shared values and mutual interests. The Embassy remains dedicated to further strengthening the bilateral ties and expanding cooperation in economic, cultural, and political spheres between our two nations.
